L’Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Felix Klieser and David Fray | July 11th

8pm | Le Parvis, Ibos

11

July
For this premiere at the Parvis national stage, we welcome the Orchestre de chambre de Paris, which, for almost half a century, has established itself as a benchmark in Europe. A so-called "Mozart-type" ensemble, it reinterprets the reading of classical works, notably with soloists conducting the orchestra in "joué-dirigé", as David Fray will be doing from the piano this evening. Felix Klieser, who already performed at the festival in 2022, completes the cast. He is an example for our cause, given that his handicap did not predestine him to become one of the great horn players on the current scene.

I have many old friends from the conservatoire who are members of this instrumental ensemble, which has a very special way of listening. I'm delighted to have them back with Felix Klieser, our new artist in residence.
